Faces and Figures

Some of these pieces are part of a series of works that use realistic rendering of the figure, overlay of found medias, and surface embellishment to create a concentration that speaks of the struggle to have an uncompromised personal identity that keeps our indescribable, original uniqueness in today’s society. These pieces show the fight against consumerism and stereotyping. They also show the peace found in discovering oneself, realizing original beauty, and finding harmony with our surroundings.
